I’ve always wanted to learn to sail. My dad used to say that a boat was a money pit, but perhaps he thought boat owning was an expensive venture because the triads always used to try to sink the junk that we owned in Hong Kong as apparently it had the wrong coloured ball on the top of it’s mast.
I found this awesome documentary (above) over on boingboing. It’s about a crew from the Anarchist Yacht Clubb lead by Moxie Marlinspike , who refit an old fibreglass hull, name it the S/V Pestilence and sail off to The Bahamas.
